The free check sends your pasted excerpt and questionnaire answers to our server for one-time analysis and does not store them afterward. If you leave an optional email address, it is forwarded once to our own alert channel and not stored in a database.
The paid $9 report works differently, by design: because our servers are stateless (nothing persists between requests), your excerpt and answers travel inside the Stripe Checkout Session's own metadata so the report page can read them back after payment. This means Stripe retains that data as part of its standard session records, subject to Stripe's privacy policy — we do not copy it into our own storage, and we never see or store your card details. Only paste text you're comfortable passing through Stripe for this purpose; do not paste anything beyond a representative excerpt (we cap input at ~3,500 characters).
